Welcome to the latest edition of the Scheu Family Blog. We are all doing well. Maddy & Taylor continue to work and live in Carmel with their clowder of cats. Abby and Seth are working all the time but we still get visiting rights with Tilly on the weekends…and we see them as well. Tilly was recently fixed so we hope it will help calm her down a tick. Luke & Samantha are doing well, also working all the time. Ms. Remi comes over now and again to play or spend a weekend. Delilah and Lola finally got their hair cut for the summer, matching Tilly’s buzz. Ann & I are trying to work less. Our jobs have been a little calmer the last month or so, thankfully. We have enjoyed seeing friends and family. We had Family Dinner during Luke’s 21st birthday and took him out bar-hopping on the night of his 21st b-day, starting in Columbus and winding up in Indy. I’ve even taken him into the liquor store and had him buy his first bottle of Patron! Mom & Sandy are doing well. We got to see Dee, Jamie & Gracie too. We spoke to Dad & Lynn as well as Dad & Barb – all are doing as good as can expected. We can only hope that we can have the quality of life they do at that age!! I’ve been getting back into vinyl. I can’t wait to dig out my collection in the garage. Discogs is a great site if you’re into that sort of things… I got a few new discs and my game has mostly improved with it. I’m not on a streak of 70 straight weeks of playing disc golf. I set a new distance personal best. I still haven’t gotten an “ace” this year yet, but I’ve been close several times. After they rearranged the baskets out at the park, here in town, I have several holes I can hit from the tee pads now…so I’m thinking it’s only a matter of time. Honestly, I played more in Columbus than I did in Greensburg this past month. The geese are rampant and just plain nasty out there, which really puts a damper on things for me. I’m hoping they get the heck out of here by the time July ends which should allow me to get out there more. I finally hit the 230s…granted it was 239.5, but hey; it’s a milestone, right?! I’ve started to hit a plateau so I’ll have to figure out how to get in more disc golf, I guess! Here are random pictures from our recent adventures.

Here are random pictures from friends and family. We really miss the Sand Pebble and the beach right now. It’s been so damn hot around here that we needed water to get outside. As it was, we still got out but didn’t stay out as long as we wanted due to the sheer amount of heat & humidity. We still managed to get outside a few evenings on the weekends when it cooled down after sunset.

We have a few social media pictures to share this time around. Reds suck as always. Zach Edie was drafted #9 by the Timberwolves! Although Mason won’t be back in a Boiler uniform this year, he did come back for his Covid year, which is cool. Purdue should be really good again, if their draft class does anything like the last few have accomplished. The Cowboys culled an interesting draft class. Let’s hope they do something in the free agent market this year so they can compete with those damn Eagles this fall…

Next up is our Waybac segment which continues with pictures from our first digital camera in late December of 2002.
Next up is our video segment which includes one new home movie this month as well as a ton from various sources I’m subscribed to…
And that does it for this edition of the Scheu Family Blog. Thanks for keeping up with us this time out and we’ll catch up with you next time. Until then, have a good one and stay safe out there. We miss ya, Mom.
